After leaving Marble's, Mike formed Bark River Knife & Tool, and the business is steadily growing. These knives are only manufactured in small lots of 50 or less pieces, and feature such appointments as Mosaic Pins, handle Spacers and Liners. THe fancy handles include exotic Burl Woods, Sambar Stag, Desert Ironwood and Bighorn Sheep. IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the unique process of manuacturing semi-custom knives such as Bark River Knife & Tool, we cannot guarantee that a particular handle variation will be in stock, even though the item is listed. We apologize for any confusion, and do the best we can in terms of keeping the various patterns updated. The best way to check availability of a particular knife is to either send us an email or call us at 419-606-0772. Please check the notes at the top of the page for each Series (e.g. Bushcraft / Survival), to see if a given pattern is SOLD OUT. Because Mike makes so many different patterns and different handle varations, it is very difficult to keep up with availability for a given knife. If a pattern is marked "SOLD OUT", please do not try to order (even if it appears on the page). Also, note that prices listed and product specifications for a given item are subject to change, based on production of a new batch. This is purely a reflection of the increased cost of steel and labor to manufacture the knife.
