Great Eastern Cutlery (also known as GEC), founded by Bill Howard and Ken Daniels, has over 60 years of experience in the cutlery industry, and specializes in premium quality, collectible pocketknives made the old-fashioned way - one at a time. They utilize the finest materials and take great care in each knife to insure that fit and finish are impeccable. Great Eastern Cutlery is known for American craftsmanship and are headquartered in Titusville, PA. Their basic philosophy is to make pocketknives the way they were made in the renaissance period of the 1930's and 1940's.
Great Eastern Knives are highly crafted traditional knives, handled with exotic hardwoods, North American cattle bone and Genuine stag. The jigging for Great Eastern Knives is also done on site in the Great Eastern Cutlery bone works. The blades of Great Eastern Knives are crafted from either high carbon steel or stainless steel and have tang stamps that include Tidioute Cutlery, Northfield Un-X-LD and Great Eastern Cutlery. Each knife comes with a certificate of authenticity and is shipped wrapped in oil paper and in a cardboard tube. We are extremely proud to offer this fine American pocketknife line, and invite you to experience the outstanding quality found in each knife.
