Boker 2008 Tirpitz Linerlock Folder. This exciting new tactical folder from Boker was named after the sister ship of the legendary Bismarck, which was the largest battleship ever launched for the German Navy. After the commissioning in February 1941, the Tirpitz soon became a permanent threat for the Western Allies' Navy in the Northern Atlantic. This knife features a new metallurgical breakthrough in steel, with it's 3.88 inch CPM 154 blade. This powder-metallurgical descendant of the very well established 154CM steel offers the typical fine microstructure of PM steels, which makes a very fine edge for extreme sharpness combined with extraordinary edge-holding capability. The handsome aluminum/Walnut Wood handle makes this a truly high class tactical folder. Includes a stainless pocket clip. Measures 9.00 inches overall. Liner thickness: 1/16". Weight: 5.9 oz.
