The Custom Ptarmigan is Bark Rivers latest entry into the Compact "Skinner Style" Hunting Knife. It is Light and Compact. The Thin Blade is Razor sharp and makes fine work an easy task. Please Note that this knife is like the Mini Canadian where the Choil is actually part of the way You grip it in use. The Blade is a perfect upswept shape for most skinning and meat cutting tasks. The Curve of the Blade follows the natural ergonomic movement of the arm and will not cause fatigue in the hand or wrist in sustained use. The knife is compact and easy to carry on the Belt or in your kit. It is the perfect size for maximum blade and edge control and will make short work of all skinning tasks in the field or at your base camp.

The rare and handsome Black Mesquite Burl handle comes from the American Southwest, and is one of the more striking hardwooods available. Handle includes lanyard hole. The New Custom Ptarmigan is supplied with the Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Bushcraft "D" Sheath.
