The Journeyman was designed as a Special Edition in the Classic knife series, perfect for Camping, General Utility Work and Hunting Chores. It is a lot of knife in a Compact Package. The blade is a very Traditional one, not usually used on a Fixed Blade knife. This Blade was very common on Large Folders--both Slip Joint and Clasp Knives. The Pattern has it's roots in the Early Sheffield Days--Literally from the 1500's. Early "Barlow's" and "English Jacks" made use of this blade for all-purpose use. The False Grind (Swedge) is very English but also used on the later Remington Patterns of the same Style. The Spine is still Plenty Beefy but thins the point for Fine work. Stacked Leather is a traditional handle material and is durable and pleasing to the eye. Handle features finger guard made of 6061 aircraft aluminum. A Deluxe Leather Sheath is included.
