The Custom Limited Edition 8.5" Bowie is an instant classic! Each is unique - no two are the same! A true classic big bowie. The blade is a traditional style (8 1/2" blade made of premium Sandvik 12C27 stainless at 58RC) and the handle is totally ergonomically designed to give a sure, comfortable grip regardless of how you pick the knife up. The Saber style handle is comfortable in both forward and reverse grip. The knife is lightning quick in the hand and it's mass is in the center so changing direction of the point is easily accomplished. This is a VERY limited run of 100 pieces, each hand made and hand ground. Each handle has been shaped from a rectangular block. Measures 13.8 inches overall and weighs 14.8 ounces. History and Practicality--all in one package. The Sambar Stag handle is available on our full hidden tang models, and includes rare Desert Ironwood spacer and cap. Sambar Stag is one of the most rare and striking natural handle materials available. Handle includes nickel silver finger guard w/ Lanyard hole. The New Sharpshooter Sheath Systems custom Leather belt sheath is included. This sheath has a rawhide tie-off, is period Correct and is of the Style of many of the Vintage Bowies and many European Knives.
