The Boone was developed as part of the Classic Series, which uses the Vintage Sheffield Wade & Butcher Patterns for it's inspiration. The Boone was the most popular of the Wade & Butcher Knives. You can see the Direct Lineage From the Boone to the U.S.M.C. Fighting Knife. This is the Root Knife of the Design, and you will be impressed with the Feel and performance of the Boone. This model has the Original Mushroom Style Pommel of the Vintage Wade & Butcher with it's Flat - Recessed - Slotted Nut. The sheath is a custom leather belt sheath with safety snap. The Handle features the authentic Stacked Leather, which was typical during the Wade & Buther period. Made in U.S.A.
