Boker Davis Classic Folding Hunter. A premier introduction - already set to be a true classic. The design of Missouri knifemaker, W. C. (Bill) Davis, stands out with the traditional drop point blade, whose shape was made popular by well-known R.W. Loveless in the 60's, and has proven successful in the areas of hunting and outdoor use for decades. W.C. has been an avid student of Loveless designs since the 70's, when he was mentored by Mr. Loveless. The stainless steel tang and bolsters carry scales of polished Green Canvas Micarta, which provides an excellent grip, even under wet conditions. The red fiber layers create an attractive contrast to the high polished steel.
The blade steel is high quality cobalt enriched N690BO, with a Rockwell Hardness of 58-60, and offers a most impressive cutting ability. The lockback mechanism provides a solid and secure lockup. Another special aspect of this piece is its slim-line construction, which allows comfortable carry in the pocket. Lanyard hole is also featured. Each piece is indivdually serialized, and the package includes a handsome gift box with red nylon carry pouch. Blade length: 3 1/2". Overall length: 8 1/2". Weight: 5.3 oz. Made in Germany.
